European Astrid Lindgren project: call for co-operation

In our regional school library organisation Skolbibliotek Syd in the south of Sweden we are planning a European project in memory of our beloved author Astrid Lindgren, who would have been 100 years this year.

Just now we are looking for primary and/or secondary schools in Europe to cooperate with. Would your school be one of our partners and get a postage from us with a book and a monkey, some material to work with and questionnaire to answer about your school library?

We would like school libraires, where someone is in charge for the programme and can let children read, write and send us pictures!

Please write back and we will come back to you soon with more information!

Spanish School Libraries Directory

The Spanish School Libraries Directory has been prepared by the Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez and presents information about school libraries from several Spanish autonomous regions. The directory is intended to become a tool to identify working school libraries at different educational levels. The directory will also list good practices.

The directory entries contain the following information about each library:

  • identification data,
  • location,
  • contact,
  • services and facilities.

In addition, each entry includes projects developed by the library and a picture gallery. The information and search capabilities are presented in Spanish, but here on the Ensil website you can download a user's guide in English.
