All of you who attended the Wels conferens : Thank you all for a great conference! We all brought loads of good ideas and contacts with us back home!

.... and a big salute for the organizers! It was a very well organized conference. We, the delegates from 18 countries, was really well taken care of. Everything went smothly. Thank you!

... and last but not least: My biggest salut for the Austrian Ensil members making this possible and to Lourense for all the work connected with organizing a conference like this.

I could'nt agree with you more! We are still reeling from the excitement of meeting new colleagues and the entire conference was quite a treat! The people were just amazing and the organizers did a splendid job. Can we come back, Austria?

The report on European Library Congress in Wels is available in Polish (and short summary in English) at http://www.actual2005.republika.pl/archiwum.html

If I may... I like to introduce to you The European Library (www.TheEuropeanLibrary.org), a service of the Conference of European National Librarians (CENL).

The site gives direct and centralised access to Europe's national libraries. It is aimed at everyone who wants a powerful and simple way of finding library materials.

In short - The European Library is a highly reliable educational tool and a unique source for information from across Europe. It is the organizational driver for the European Digital Library. This European Commission initiative will encompass not only libraries but also museums, archives and other holders of cultural heritage content.

Did you know that you can easily install a mini version of The European Library search box? You can choose the size, color, collections, and language you like.

You can find more information at http://libraries.theeuropeanlibrary.org/services/minisearchbox_en.html

Thanks.
